Complete with a home gym office a pergola that contains the outdoor living area and smart lighting this family home has it all. Using pinewood in this smart residential project Jersey City-based Jeff Jordan Architects created a well-ordered bright and spacious interior. The pinewood’s visual impact is both soothing and serene. As a result the project offers a clear-cut example of pine’s efficacy in creating clean modern and aesthetic spaces.
A view of the distant mountains and the countryside add to the relaxing lifestyle at this hillside home even as an open plan living area does away with rigid boundaries on the inside. The kitchen dining and living room flow into one another and lead to the social zone outside.
On the lower level one finds the open living area shaded dining space a collection of courtyards a kitchen with concrete island and contemporary cabinets a TV room play area and refreshing pool.
On the other side of the TV wall is another small informal relaxation space along with custom shelving a small kitchen dining area and home office zone. Each and every room of the house embraces minimalism with a dash of inviting warmth even as clever change in flooring and lighting delineates spaces without visual fragmentation.
