And it is amidst this dense canopy that the gorgeous eco-friendly and serene wooden residence dwell!
Set on the idyllic Sunshine Coast of Queensland and on the edge of the protected Noosa National Park the is a place where the landscape becomes the most defining feature of the interior. Designed by James Russell Architect the house is more like a series of vast pavilions expansive verandas and lovely courtyards that are carefully covered and protected using a large shade cloth.
Décor choices lighting fixtures and the overall ambiance of this Raleigh Residence complement the classy and urbane setting that was visualized by the architects. Filled with plenty of natural light this two-story home promises to offer the best of two contrasting worlds.
On the other side of the TV wall is another small informal relaxation space along with custom shelving a small kitchen dining area and home office zone. Each and every room of the house embraces minimalism with a dash of inviting warmth even as clever change in flooring and lighting delineates spaces without visual fragmentation.
It is the new dining area kitchen and the long extension that becomes the social zone of the Glasshouse and sliding pocket doors were used sensibly throughout the residence to delineate space whenever needed. Modern lighting fixtures contemporary décor neutral color palette and warmth of Eucalyptus wood put the final touches on a makeover that is all about glass.
