It was Architects EAT who decided to give the residence a façade unlike any other with a white aluminum screen that keeps away prying eyes and helps shape a more intimate entrance zone. It also preserves a sense of mystery as one is greeted by a blue front gate lovely grasscrete hanging plants and a serene ambiance.
The condo is just a stone’s throw away from the Stanley Park and a few blocks away from the hip English Bay beach and with one bedroom and one bathroom it is indeed a perfect place for an urban couple.
As you head inside you will come across both the formal dining room with its more stoic presence and the informal dining space with sofa style seating geo style pendant lighting and plenty of warmth.
Designed by Pedro Ferreira Architecture Studio the gleaming interior of this 19th century house is augmented by the use of untreated pinewood. The result is wholly fresh warm and inviting.
Wood is the primary material of choice on the inside with the office oozing a distinct modern style with edgy industrial overtones. Specifically designated workspaces are combined with sweeping meeting zones which include both formal and informal ones.
Borrowing from the elements of local farmhouse design and adding contemporary upgrades that improve its aesthetics and ergonomics Cutler Anderson Architects conjured up and brought to life the gorgeous.
A large winding entryway leads to the more stoic home where straight lines minimalist style and sophisticated décor dominate the setting. Custom triangular skylights bring even more light into the bedroom and bathrooms on the top level while sliding glass doors accomplish the same on the lower level.
