Whenever we come across contemporary farmhouse residences they are inevitably old renovated structures that are given a new lease of life. But the in Quebec is different from the rest. It was built by the creative folk at LAMAS to accommodate a couple who wished to combine their passion for art with agriculture and a rustic lifestyle.
It was Architects EAT who decided to give the residence a façade unlike any other with a white aluminum screen that keeps away prying eyes and helps shape a more intimate entrance zone. It also preserves a sense of mystery as one is greeted by a blue front gate lovely grasscrete hanging plants and a serene ambiance.
Refined and curated the color scheme inside the house is largely neutral with pops of red being found sporadically. The sitting areas and social zones on the inside flow effortlessly into the outdoor deck and pool area ensuring that the transition between both the zones is seamless. This is a ranch house that is sophisticated smart and responsive to the specific demands on the lot!
