When Cox Architecture decided to build their new office in Melbourne it was a trip that took them down the less beaten path. Dubbed as ‘’ the new nerve-center of the company’s operations was built to comfortable accommodate individual working spaces for the 75 employees who specializes in departments varying from model-making and desktop publishing to administrative staff and IT support.
As the day passes and seasons wax and wane the interior changes ever so subtly because of varying natural light even as the rest of the home remains distinctly minimal and stoic. The land around the house is used for active agrarian purpose and hence the farmhouse itself needed to be a blend of the right aesthetics and functionality. With stunning views of the distant mountains wonderful scenery and Lake Massawippi playing a pivotal role in shaping the orientation of the three buildings of the farmhouse and the placement of windows life here is definitely a visual treat!
